This update is one in a series that we have been writing, in the process of researching a new work, with the support of the LACMA Art + Technology Lab. See all updates here.

Over the last month, we’ve been busy with quite a few different things (not least of which was the sound installation, Afterglow, which was presented in Berlin on October 8). So, it has taken a while to get back to focusing on Signal Tide, but earlier this week we started monitoring passes of the LES-1 again, in order to try to ascertain if changes that we had made to our antennas would be useful.

In the meantime, the weather has very much changed since we last posted about this — plenty of frost on the roof in the early mornings at the moment. We’ll need to take a little bit of time to figure out what usable data we might have got from recording these passes, but here are a couple of quick photos from the most recent work. More soon.
